This evening in London, Hylink’s work for Brand USA was recognized for ‘Best in Brand Awareness’ at the annual Drum Mobile Awards.

The winning campaign surrounded the ‘See How Far You Can Go’ theme and messaging, amplified through a mobile game on WeChat. Based on the well-known concept of ‘spot the difference,’ our team created an interactive game that integrated storytelling and traveler persona elements to enhance travel inspiration, branding, and engagement.

The campaign ran on WeChat, wherein users were served ads directing them to an H5 game on Brand USA's account page. The game takes players through several rounds of a fun and interactive process resulting in the accumulation of virtual travel items and learning what one's own unique 'U.S. traveler style' is. Overall, the game generated 13.5 million impressions among WeChat users.

The Drum Mobile Awards celebrates the brands and agencies at the forefront of the mobile industry, identifying the great work being produced on this emerging platform and recognizing those who are delivering the most effective strategies and campaigns.
