Hylink Digital's Humphrey Ho Named Lead Judge of the 2017 ESTO Awards

Hylink Digital is proud to announce Managing Director Humphrey Ho has been named to the panel of lead judges for the 2017 ESTO Awards. For the past 18 years, the ESTO Awards have honored marketing excellence for both states and destinations. The awards are split into two programs—Destiny and Mercury. The Destiny Awards recognize marketing and promotion at the local and regional level, and the Mercury Awards recognize state and territory destination marketing and promotion. 

Ho has assembled a team of additional judges comprised of Hylink collaborators to aid him in judging their respective categories. This decorated committee will play an important role in determining the Judges’ Choice picks for the Destiny and Mercury programs of the ESTO Awards. This year's judges are:

Humphrey Ho

Ho is managing director of Hylink, USA.  Prior to these initiatives, Humphrey oversaw programmatic efforts in both mobile and video as a Strategic Partnerships Leader at Google China. He previously brought in local partners and clientele as Business Director at Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai and was the Director of Business Operations at one of the top independent boutique advertising agencies, Leagas Delaney Shanghai, which he helped transform from a project-based enterprise to a top-quality strategic, and creative retainer.

Yang Chen

Chen is an account executive of Hylink, USA. Yang has three years of marketing & advertising experience in both China & the U.S.. Before Hylink, she was community manager at China Eastern, one of the top three airlines in China, and Playkids, the number one top grossing children’s app in the Apple app store. 

Yukun Bi

Bi is head of planning for Hylink, USA. She has 12 years of creative and media agency experience and has worked in a variety of sectors including luxury, automotive, FMCG, Pharma and Travel.

Michael Horvitz

Horvitz is the client services director for Hylink, USA. He is responsible for representing brands for work in China such as Brand USA, OjO Scooter, Muzik and others.  He has been in marketing and content for 10 years and began his career at the inception of Omnicom’s first integrated sports and entertainment agency Optimum Sports and Entertainment in New York.  He has worked for Interpublic Group and Playbook Inc. representing NFL, NBA, MLB players for endorsement marketing. He represented the actor who portrayed The Most Interesting Man in the World for Dos Equis which won the coveted Creative Lion Award at Cannes.

Sari Montrone

Montrone serves as senior account manager at Hylink. After graduating from Utah State University in 2011, Sari moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in advertising and production. She began her career in traditional media where she discovered her passion for marketing. After four years of client-facing experience, she realized her true calling was in digital marketing and international business.

Alex Newman

Newman is a designer and illustrator with experience in advertising, package design, illustration, and corporate identity. He ensures that content is visually compelling, user friendly, emotive, clear, and on-brand.

Hylink currently services Brand USA, the national agency responsible for the promotion of travel to the U.S. The agency’s services are exclusively for the China market and Hylink is honored to serve Brand USA, as 2016 was the U.S.-China Tourism year. In response to travel and the appointment, Ho stated, “travel unites the world by creating a cultural bridge that allows foreign guests to understand more about our great nation. We are honored and delighted to be contributing to the ESTO Awards recognizing those who are doing the best work and marketing the message of ‘one big welcome’ to our great nation.” 

The ESTO 2017 Awards Presentation will take place on August 29, 2017. Winners will receive a trophy engraved with their organization name and category won as well as a gallery feature on the ESTO website.
